Hello, I am going to write about a fighter named Stephan Bonnar. He was born on April 4, 1977, and he is one of the first original fighters in the UFC. He is mostly known from being on the first season of the Ultimate Fighter. He was the best on his team, and proceeded to the finals against Forrest Griffin. It is known as the best fight ever in the whole UFC history. During the fight Stephan Bonnar broke Forrest Griffin's nose, but Griffin kept on battling. Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar fought all the rounds, but Forrest Griffin ended up winning by unanimous decision. Forrest won a six figure contract, and was given a chance to be in the UFC. Even, though Stephan Bonnar lost the president of the UFC, Dana White said that they would also let Stephan Bonnar in the UFC too!
He wanted to face Forrest Griffin again, and he did get the chance to face him at UFC 62. He still lost like last time, and the same way. He lost by unanimous decision. Stephan Bonnar's current record is 19 fight total, 12 wins, and 7 disappointing losses. I think that Stephan is a very skilled fighter, but I do not think that he is the best fighter. Stephan Bonnar is very talented at Jiu Jitsu, and that is why 7 out of the 12 wins were won by submission. He fought some of the most talented fighters in the UFC like Keith Jardine. Stephan Bonnar is going to fight on December 4th, 2010 against Igor Pokrajac for the Ultimate fighter finale.
