Using hair loss products like solutions, shampoo, conditioners and medicine need certain kind of directions for its use. Otherwise it may prove harmful to the existing hair.
The common products that are available in the world are made artificially using chemicals. Though natural hair care materials are available they have not yet been popularized. These chemicals can make their effect on hair in either way. So the use of hair loss product needs some directions to be followed.
First and the traditional product is the shampoo. It is of two types, one is the hair growth shampoo and the other one is the hair thickening shampoo. Shampoo are the good friend and as well as good enemy of the hair. Shampoo contains most of the harmful substances and it should be used for cleansing the hair gently in small amount. However natural herbal shampoo has no such restrictions.
Conditioners are also solutions but it does not produce any foam as we may see in the shampoo. Conditioners are used to keep the soft and silky nature of hair for a longer period of life. They help in protecting the hairline in the head and should be used carefully by the physician advice.
The supplements for proteins, amino acid, fatty acid and vitamins that are helpful in the hair re growth should not taken in excess. Excess intake of these supplement make the hair grow longer in men. Similar condition results in female which are useful to them. Excess intake also results in other health disorders like in-digestion, excess generation of fats which result in obesity.
Medicines like the propecia and avodart are the best hair loss product. These are made up of Finasteride and Dutasteride drugs which help in the blocking of Di-Hydro Testosterone hormone which is the main cause for hair loss. Dutasteride blocks ninty percenty of the DHT hormone than the Finasteride drug. While using, care should be taken that it avoids contact with eye. It should be kept out of reach of children.
However, the above discussed medicines cannot be used in female, since it causes birth defects in pregnant women even if they touch. But research has been made and it is found that a low dosage of these drugs cures hair loss problem in about fifty percent of the patients, but again it is strictly not for pregnant women. The usage of this medicine could not be stopped even after the hair fall stops. Because it will cause hair fall again.
Since the usage of hair loss product is growing in number, among the people, many directions and restrictions are set by the United States Food and Drug Administration.
The use of concealer is also growing in popularity. Concealer's are cosmetics that are applied on the pre existing hair or scalp. The place of application depends on the nature of the product.
Some concealer hair loss product is applied on the low hair density area which makes the head look fuller and thicker. It can remove only by rinsing with shampoo and it is non toxic. Some other concealer is applied in the scalp itself according to the color of the existing hair.
