PMS isn't a walk in the park, but for you that don't have to deal with the worst of the PMS symptoms, it might seem that way. Unfortunately, the majority of women in the world deal with some of the "best" PMS symptoms. PMS bloating is sometimes a monthly occurrence; bringing with it that uncomfortable, fat feeling that keeps you in your frumpy clothes.

PMS Bloating- A Reason to Stay Inside

When that time of the month hits, bloating is like the boxing glove filled with cement. PMS bloating causes everything you wear to shrink suddenly, and no matter how you try to cram yourself into them; your jeans just won't close! For some women, bloating is a good reason to stay inside with a quart of Chocolate Chip Cookie dough ice cream, a good chick flick, and your best friend's number on speed dial. PMS bloating can seriously cause a kink in your social calendar for a full week. Despite how nasty and "fat" you feel while dealing with PMS bloating, it can be treated with over the counter PMS medications. Don't let PMS bloating keep you inside. Kick it in the butt, and lock your door on the way out!

My Clothes Don't Fit!

For a full week or more a month, the female body undergoes some serious changes! One of the myriad symptoms of these changes is water retention, or bloating. Because bloating causes weight gain, it can very easily keep you from fitting into your favorite micro-mini- no matter how much lotion you spread on your thighs. Even when buttering yourself up like a Thanksgiving turkey, you aren't going to fit into a lot of the tight-fitting things you usually wear. Most suggest that you just give up and wear something looser and more flowing. Jeans and tight skirts are out; sweatpants, sweaters, and loose skirts are in! PMS bloating can seriously take the sexy out of your attire, but feel better knowing that this weight gain is temporary and will recede once your body is back to normal.

PMS Bloating- Nip it in the Bud

Despite what people say regarding the inevitability of PMS bloating, there are steps you can take to help prevent it from rearing its ugly little head ever month. DRINK WATER! Drinking plenty of water on a regular basis keeps the body running efficiently! If you keep the body fueled with daily allotments of water, it won't find it necessary to "fill her up" when the body's hormones go into overdrive. Drinking ten 6-8oz glasses of water a day can seriously reduce your chances of dealing with PMS bloating.

When that week in your month comes and PMS bloating is looming on the horizon, just remember to drink water, pull out your loose clothes, or take a PMS symptom reducing medicine. You don't have to agonize over it, when you can just breeze through it!
