At one time or another in your lifetime, you may have felt how it is to panic and for sure, you don't like the feeling and physical symptoms that comes with panic. For some people though, panic may be something that they fear everyday of their lives and in fact, they may shy away from society for the fear that they may have a sudden panic attack for no reason at all.

Panic attack can be devastating. In fact, sufferers panic for no reason and they may start to hyperventilate, sweat profusely, have difficulty in breathing and they may have thoughts about dying. But there are ways in coping with and overcoming panic attack. This situation can often lead to a panic disorder that may eventually be harder to deal with, thus it is often recommended to seek help in overcoming panic attack before it can become a disorder.

- Condition your mind to think positive and eliminate the negative thoughts that are causing you anxiety and fear. Anxiety and panic springs from negative thoughts and to help you deal with panic disorder, make sure that you also get into the bottom line of eliminating negative thinking.

- Think that panic attack won't harm you and are not dangerous. Even if you think you are dying during an attack, you can condition your mind to think that the situation cannot actually hurt you. This way, you will push yourself to be strong and cast away those thoughts of fear.

- Don't exaggerate. Most often panic strikes when you think that something might happen and when you often think of 'what if's'. To help you in dealing and overcoming panic attack, train your thoughts not to exaggerate things especially the negative ones.

- Fight the feeling of panic. Don't avoid situations or things or events just because you fear you might panic. The more you are willing to face your fears, the more you can handle and manage it easily.

- Find people who are into the same situation as you are. Join support groups and groups that are into the cause of fighting against this mental disorder. The more you are with people having the same problems, the more you can learn techniques to cope up and deal with the problem.

- Seek therapies. If you have been experiencing frequent panic attacks, it is important to take note that it is not just a simple problem. In fact, it has been acknowledged as a medical problem and one way that you can help yourself in dealing and overcoming it is through therapies that can help recondition your mind to eliminate thoughts that are causing your anxieties and fears.
