Sleep deprivation and emotional stressors can also trigger this problem. Always make it a priority to dedicate enough time to sleep, regardless of your other obligations. Your first obligation needs to be to yourself, and sleeplessness can wreak havoc on body and mind, so don't allow it to take a backseat.
Suffering from insomnia? It's never easy to fight that predicament, but try to pinpoint the root cause. Often, a worn out or otherwise uncomfortable mattress is the culprit, so if you're experiencing ongoing discomfort and find yourself tossing and turning, then it's time to spring for a replacement (no pun intended).
