Beauty starts from the top. And your hair condition is the first thing that the eye catches. Amazing hair can complement your facial features too, thus learn some hair care tips to help you maintain a healthy hair.

Hair experts can change the way you look by giving you hair spa or some special treatment, and there are several other ways that technology can do to enhance your pretty locks. However, it is the old school scheme that does the trick when you simply want to take good care of your precious 'crown'. Below are a few of the hair care tips that you might find useful.

Comb your tresses the moment you wake up in the morning and before you go to bed at night. The more you should when you have longer and thicker hair and if you are fond of ponytails or curling. Whether your locks are straight or wavy, combing can make it softer to touch and make it more manageable.

Use the regular comb instead of a hairbrush. The bristles in a hairbrush have a complex arrangement than that of a fine-toothed comb and it can tangle or stretch your strands. For sure, you would not want to strain your locks with that.

Hairdo is fine for as long as you don't exert too much pressure pulling and fixing it up. The rule is, be as gentle as you can be. Allow someone else you can fully trust to do it as well.

Regulate shampoo use. Sure, you can take a bath each day, and most people have developed the habit of applying shampoo every time but although it's a cleansing agent, its chemical composition might be too harsh for hair strands and your scalp with constant use. Three to four times per week would be fine enough to maintain it dirt-free.

When you can't help but go under the unforgiving heat of the sun, be sure to protect your locks with a cap or a hat. An umbrella will be good enough to cover your head with when you want to avoid the discomfort of a sports cap. As much as possible, avoid too much exposure to the sun.

You may blow dry after taking a bath but see to it that your drier doesn't get anywhere nearer than a few inches away while doing it. Heat can destroy the natural proteins in hair.

Have a regular trim. This probably is one of the simplest hair care tips to always remember. Those nasty split-ends have to be removed once they appear. So does dull and dry hair tips.

Should you apply styling gel or mousse, make sure you rinse it off with tap water. Never allow those to stay overnight. You had it on for the rest of the day and by the time you get home it has had collected enough dust with it. Do the same when you are the sweaty type. Sweat shouldn't be staying and drying up in your locks.

You need to hydrate though. Water is a substance that your mane needs for a healthy growth, the way your body needs it for good function. And lastly, a balanced diet will go a long way. Sufficient nutrition will make your tresses glow with pride.

These are just a few of the hair care tips that you may find useful to maintain beautiful hair. Learn more and make sure to take note even simple hair care tips such as these.
