The very first step is to set up a very clean nice and comfortable surface where your friend or spouse can lie face down on. You can then rest there head on a soft pillow or a towel while also giving the same treatment down towards the legs.
After you have done this you will rub some massage oil on your hands and start from the ankle with long strokes rubbing upward. The technique is a hand over hand motion which will then lead you to the person hips. When you reach this area you will work your way back down towards the ankle and back up the legs once again.
This time though you will add a little more grip to the strokes on your way towards the hips. Your target is all of the limbs so you will do the same thing for the arms until you get to the fingers gently grasping them. For all of the limbs you will slowly knead the skin gently and lightly grasp between the second fingers and thumb. Keep working on the limbs steadily gradually increasing the pressure of strokes.
The next set up strokes will be for the upper back and lower back regions. The same method will be used for the back as with the limbs but you will instead work your way towards the shoulders this time. Once you reach one shoulder you will gently stroke from one end to the other shoulder then gradually massaging towards the heart.
The final motions will be reserved for the neck region and scalp. You will need to spread your fingers from the scalp and go in a circular motion. From here you will start from the center of the crown and work your way down behind the ears and towards the back of the neck.
The face will be massage with the finger tips. They will be drifted using a circular motion from the temples to the center of the forehead. To complete the full body massage you will continue down the bridge of the nose, gently brushing over the cheeks and then going back to them temples again. You can complete this as many times as needed.
