Home remedies for constipation starts and ends fruits. There is little else to counter it from home shelves. When we talk about fruits guava is a common one we can think of. The fruits invariably contain water in the form of juice and they combat constipation even in such a way too. There is much more to them than that of course. There is bael fruit, which is an excellent choice. Constipation is usually relieved with laxatives. But the laxatives are not exactly home remedies or products. Therefore, a bael fruit becomes much more important; yes, the bael fruit acts as a form of laxative as it has the properties and effectiveness of a laxative. Now then, bael fruit just does not act as a laxative and medicine, but also a juicy fruit, which tastes good. What better way to counter constipation than to taste a fruit and washing it away.

Of course, there are the good old grapes too. They have just not acted as an effective counter to constipation, but as the good old wine. Now that everyone in the world daily gets inebriated to bliss with wine; the origin of the wine - grapes, is quietly doing one another good job by the side. And that is to counter constipation. Even the juice acts as a constipation reliever. Well, a good glass of wine too does the trick sometimes. That is an inherent quality of alcohol known to humankind of course.

Spinach is one another option. Well, spinach is the wonder leaf, really. It has done wonder to comic book heroes and comic book leads. It has made kids hate mothers and it has made kids learn that mothers were always right. It helps in chasing away the toxins from the body, it helps in building up some strength, but there is something else it does better. It gets rid of constipation. That should come as no surprise. This green leaf has the quality to wade off evil and that we already know. It almost acts as vacuum cleaner for the digestive system, literally cleansing it off the trouble causing properties.

Talk about green leaves, green fruits shouldn't be far either. Take the case of papaya, it sits atop a tree that can barely support its weight and deservedly so. Papaya packs in it so much health and energy that it got a tree to support and stays at the top all the time. These fruits are excellent laxatives and as we already have known by now laxatives are the immediate effective remedy for constipation. Papaya can be termed as one of the effective home remedies for constipation. Well, there is orange too, which acts as a counter to constipation. If you find it time consuming to peel them and dirty your hands then just juice them. Yes, the orange juice is effective. All said and done, there is one more thing that one can term as an effective home remedy for constipation and that is water. You can get that at home, of course.
