There are lots of airborne chemicals in our indoor air these days. You may be asking yourself who on earth would need an air purifier for chemicals. But take a look below, and if you fall into one of the situations the answer is you!

Artists---If you work in the visual arts with paints, acrylics, enamels, inks, glues, shellac and then clean it up with turpentine, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) are evaporating from many of the supplies you use.

Unless you take steps to minimize these fumes, they can build to a level that make your studio an unpleasant place to be. And unhealthy air in your studio certainly won't inspire as much creativity as a room filled with fresh clean air would.

Beauticians---Staying on the cutting edge in this industry often means using products that can off-gas ammonia, formaldehyde and other harsh chemicals. Many states have set regulations for ventilation and standards for air quality.

In places where there are no guideline, or even where there are, the importance of protecting yourself from daily exposure to these chemicals cannot be over emphasized. Opening doors and windows is a start, but it is often difficult to exchange the amount of air necessary to really make a difference, especially when the weather is extremely cold or hot.

Nail Technicians---The amount of fumes generated by salons that offer manicures and pedicures can be evidenced by the fact that you can often smell the shop before you see it! Working in salon with such poor air quality should be scary. These fumes just can't make you feel, or even be good for you.

But between the polish, remover, hardener, and other chemicals used to produce beautiful nails, the chemical fumes can multiply exponentially especially during the busiest times---usually evenings, and weekends.

Victims of Remodeling---There is nothing worse than being stuck in the middle of a remodel at the office or where you live. Yes, the place often looks better than it did, the only problem is the fumes from new carpet, paint, or adhesives make it next to impossible for you to stay there.

Having a renovation happen at the office is bad enough, but having it happen where you live is worse. Filtering the air is the most effective way to make the air tolerable, particularly if you are chemically sensitive.

Transportation Industry---If you work in or near a bus station, train station, automotive repair shop chances are you are breathing exhaust fumes. Even if your office is not related but shares a building with a tenant who produces a lot of fumes, your space can become polluted from it.

Leases often make it impossible to move away, and many times there is literally nowhere you can go to get away from the fumes, it can become a huge problem for you and your office.

These are just a few examples of situations where a carbon-based air purifier for chemicals is needed to keep air quality healthy. Take action now. Your good healthy may possibly be at stake.
