If you are like most women today, you like to have a nice tan to your skin. But sometimes you could come from the beach or pool with a very bad burn to your skin. The burn will hurt in more than one way. Not only will the burn blister and peal, but your skin will become very dry. If this happens, your skin could split and bleed and this could allow germs to enter your body causing infection. If you plan on being at the beach or the pool for the day, you will need to bring some sun block and a cover for when you have had enough sun. Also, you will want to bring some kind of cover for your head.

If you are someone that uses a tanning bed, start out slow, because sometimes you can get burned faster in one of these than you can from being in the sun. Either one of these ways will dry out your skin. After doing either of these tanning methods, you will need to wash all of the old sun block off or the tanning oil that you used. If your skin starts to look a little pink and is sore to the touch, you have probably gotten burned. You will then need to dab your skin dry and find a good moisturizer or medicated cream to lightly rub on your skin. If your skin is very red, you might want to put some pure vanilla or Aloe Vera lotion on this burn. These will take the burn out of your skin.

This burn can make you fell like you have gotten to close to a fire. In a couple of days, after you got the burn, you will need to make sure that you keep a good moisturizer on it and wear loose clothes. These loose clothes will allow the burns to breathe and heal. If you were to put tight clothes on these burns, you could tear the skin off and cause more peeling. In some cases when the burns are severe, you might have to go into the hospital if infection is allowed to set in.

You will need to have some form of medical insurance to help with the cost of the treatment as you could be there for days depending on the severity of the burns. In the hospital, they will set you in whirl pool tubs and put medicines in the water to help in the healing. They will also put on all kinds of creams and burn medicine to help also with the healing process. Just remember when out in the sun, be very careful not to be out too long and have a good sun block on even if you are not at the pool or beach.
