Cigars are no good for your health just like cigarettes are not. They both can or will do the same things to damage the body. Many people think that cigars will not do has much damage as cigarettes will because it takes longer to smoke a cigar and many cigar smokers do not inhale. That is not true, because a cigar has as much tobacco in it as a whole pack of cigarettes. That is 20 cigarettes at a time and that is a lot more nicotine that your body is getting sometimes in one sitting.
All that nicotine will get in the blood stream and it will run through the whole body getting into every organ causing damages. Cigars can cause mouth cancer, lung cancer, larynx cancer, oral cavity damage, pancreas cancer, and even bladder cancer. Cancer is not a fun thing to go through because it makes the body weak, in extreme pain, sore, and overall sick. Some treatments for cancer are no better to have to endure. The smoke itself can cause problems in other people as well by damaging their body and causing them to get sick.
Cancer takes the energy out of the body to where you can not walk a lot or do the things that you want to or need to do. Even before a person gets cancer a person can feel the affects that smoking can cause. Second hand smoke can come from cigars smoke and cigarettes. Cigars can make you age just like cigarettes and it can give people wrinkles, lines, and dark bags under the eyes. Your hair and body can smell like a cigar as well as the clothes and your house, everything will smell like it. Cigars and chewing tobacco will stain the teeth yellow and it will leave nasty gunk all over the surface of the teeth which you can feel on the teeth.
It can cause people to have breathing problems such as shortness of breathe, having to inhale deeper, or have to be put on a breathing machine. It can slowly kill you or can damage the lungs to where they are shot. Did you know that cancer can spread through the body fast if it is a very bad case? When it spreads it can go into other organs of the body which can kill you even faster. Cigars are so addictive just like cigarettes and they are hard to break away from, but there are ways to quit like slowing down on how much you smoke or chew gum to get your mind off of it. You can quit cold turkey, but that can be hard too. Using nicotine patches or trying new stop smoking pills that are new to the market might help you quit smoking cigars or cigarettes. There is also a new electronic cigarette that has recently came about that can help too.
