Have you observed the past time of your child? What is the correlation between attention deficit disorder and television per se?

The principal features of attention deficit disorder are impulsiveness, hyper activeness, and inattention; which can be seen on the inability to stop and think before acting, inability to resist disturbances, unable to work for a long time, and slow up the leading or instantaneous response to an occurrence. An excessive display of movement which is not needed for certain activity is showed.

On the other hand, attention deficit disorder is not directly caused by watching too much television; a misconception that should be corrected. There is no on its own ground or cause of this psychological disorder, but with thorough and continuous investigation and research done it has turned up some to be a result of some factors.

A number of children may go through distress as he or she is still in the mother's uterus or womb. Mothers who use drugs or alcohol or who smoke may have a say and responsible of to their child's disorder, more than ever if there is a kin history, it can be passed from generation to generation as bought by the genes.

Neurobiology and genetics play a most important role. Ecological agents like lead exposure as among those who reside in aged buildings and food additives and sugars have also been drawn in. Chemical factors may also be involved, though this is a contentious hypothesis.

Environmental factors can be contributory things; just recently they already looked for a linked between too many disclosures to television or computer games, and have been recommended that children do not watch television at all earlier than the age of two.

Some researches have even recommended a connection stuck between too much in the early hours television watching and prospected attention troubles. Parents should tag along with the specific and right amount of time to spend for watching.

There is this guideline that states: children under two years of age should have any "screen time" either through television set, DVDs or digital video disc, videotapes itself, computer or video games, and that kids of the same should be restricted to one to two hours per day, or a reduced amount, of quality television programming.

However, research claimed that attention deficit disorder is not caused by watching too much television, food allergies, deprived schools and appalling parenting. It is not the mistake of the parents but to a certain extent the consequence of a not enough quantity of one or more of the chemicals in the nervous system accountable for attentiveness and concentration.
