Hemorrhoids are just not something that people feel comfortable talking about. Hemorrhoids are present in healthy individuals. In fact, hemorrhoidal columns exist in utero. When these vascular cushions produce symptoms, they are referred as hemorrhoids.

They are enlarged, swollen masses of tissue and blood vessels in the anus and lower rectum. They can be internal, occurring higher up in the anal canal, or external, occurring outside of the anus. These are lumps or masses of tissue in the anus, which contain enlarged blood vessels.

They are also inside the anal canal (internal hemorrhoids), where they primarily cause the symptom of intermittent bleeding, usually with bowel movements. They are classified into two general categories: internal and external.

Mostly they are caused by excessive pressure on the pelvic and rectal veins. Blood pools in the veins as the pressure increases which causes swelling and stretching in the surrounding tissues which leads to hemorrhoids.

They are very prevalent among pregnant women. The pressure of the fetus in the abdomen, as well as hormonal changes, cause the hemorrhoidal vessels to enlarge. Hemorrhoids are classified into four categories. First-degree hemorrhoids protrude into the anal canal and bleed slightly.

These are a medical condition characterized by inflamed and swollen veins surrounding the lower rectum or anus. Not everyone suffering from hemorrhoids experiences symptoms.

Hemorrhoids are similar to varicose veins of the legs. When symptoms such as itching, burning, or pain occur, it is important to find a prescription drug or therapy for proper cure of hemorrhoids as soon as possible.

Hemorrhoids are the most common source of bleeding from the rectum and the anus. However, if the bleeding lasts for more than a couple of days, you should have an exam.

Hemorrhoids are both inside and above the anus (internal) or under the skin around the anus (external). Hemorrhoids (piles) arise from congestion of internal and/or external venous plexuses around the anal canal.

Hemorrhoids are very common phenomena and are brought about by factors that produce venous congestion, such as constipation, diarrhea, or pregnancy. In some instances, the pain from inflamed hemorrhoids can be intense, and the bleeding so profuse as to pose the threat of anemia.

Hemorrhoids are dilated veins in the anal area. They often get infected and inflamed, making them even more engorged and causing itching and other uncomfortable feelings.

Hemorrhoids are swollen blood vessels inside you rectum or anal canal that slip out of place. Your anus is the opening where the stool from your bowel movements (BM) leaves your body.

Hemorrhoids are either inside the anus, called internal, or under the skin around the anus, called external. Hemorrhoids that come from the inside are covered with the lining of the rectum, called mucosa, and those that are on the outside covered with skin. If you do the right things you can be hemorrhoid free very quickly.
