Want to hear a dog joke? Here's one from the internet, it was submitted by Jimmy Lee. The joke goes like this...

The Taco Bell Chihuahua, a Doberman and a Bulldog, are in a doggie bar having a drink when a good-looking female Collie comes up to them and says, "Whoever can use the words liver and cheese, in the same sentence can have me."
So the Doberman says, "I love liver and cheese."
The female Collie says, "That's not good enough."
The Bulldog says, "I hate liver and cheese."
She says, "That's not creative."
Finally, the Taco Bell Chihuahua says, "Liver alone -- cheese mine."
Okay, now that I have your attention let me talk about the real topic of this article and it is about digestive enzymes. Digestive enzymes help us digest food so that we can use them as nutrients. Enzymes are naturally produced in our bodies and they are also found in raw foods. But the bad part about raw foods it is that the structure of the enzymes change whit temperature so when we cook raw foods, those enzymes die. Then with regards to our bodies, as we grow older we lose the ability to produce naturally these digestive enzymes. Now remember, we need these enzymes to convert food into what our body needs. Without enzymes, food is useless. So what can we do about this? We can get other sources for digestive supplements, they come from raw foods and supplements.

Four important digestive enzymes are Maltase, lactase, sucrase and alpha galatosidase. Maltase is the ones that convert sugar found in malt and grain products and transform them into glucose while lactase help digest lactose that are found in dairy products. Sucrase is the one that digest sucrose including table sugar and alpha galatosidase hydrolyzes the sugar in beans that cause gas and ferment.

Food sources for maltase are barley, rice, sugar-cane, mushroom, Brewer's yeast, green plants, beet leaves and banana. Lactase can be found in milk, tomatoes, persimmons, peaches, apples and almonds. Sucrase can be found in sugar-cane, spinach, lettuce, romaine, potato and cucumbers. Alpha Galatosidase can be found in cucumbers and sprouted legumes

A complete source for digestive enzyme supplements would be digestive enzyme supplements. One of the best digestive enzyme supplement is Pain Power because it is all natural, 100%
Vegetarian and plant-based. It is very safe and definitely effective.

That is just about it with my topic, but before I end I will leave you with a quote from William London. It says, " To insure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life." Bye!
