It can come in the form a support group or with the aid of a stop smoking product of some kind. There are even prescription medications available today if you visit your doctor.
There are thousands of chemicals going into your body every time you smoke and after a while your body will not be able to take it anymore. Some people end up living with a breathing machine the rest of their life once they can no longer take in enough oxygen on their own. Once you have reached this point, there is no going back. Smokers need to realize that the time to quit is today because the longer they continue to smoke, the less chance there is that their body will ever be able to recover.
