When the body does this, it is trying to save as much as it can. You need to drink as much as 32 oz of water a day to stay strong and fit. You can drink water from the faucet or from bottles, it does not matter where you drink it from as long as you drink it.

An inadequate water supply to the body water leads to dehydration and that can put you in the hospital and you may have to have an IV in you arm. The IV will put fluid back into your system, but it can take days for you to get back your strength. It can hurt kids more than adults due to their systems being to small and they are so fragile.
