ADD which is short for attention deficit disorder is a disorder common to children and even to adults. Attention deficit disorder symptoms include inattention and a high level of hyperactivity or impulsivity. To others, it may seem that people with ADD are a whirlwind of activity and has a lot of suppressed energy stored inside them that needs to be let out. There are actually a lot of symptoms that may be present in two categories: hyperactivity or inattention.

In determining whether a child or an adult has ADD, it is important to know if a child's behavior is in sync with his or her current developmental stage or if their impulsivity and hyperactivity are in the same level with other kids of the same age.

To better sort out the different attention deficit disorder symptoms, we have broken it down into 3 categories: Symptoms of Hyperactivity, symptoms of impulsivity and symptoms of Inattention.

A child with symptoms of hyperactivity is usually the fidgety sort. They are the ones who can't sit still and feels the need to squirm in their feet or seats. They often lose the battle of waiting and sitting still and you can often see them loitering around doing one random activity after another.

While you can see most children running around and climbing, children with ADD usually display an excessive amount of running and climbing which gives the impression of agitation and restlessness. Children with this condition usually talk a lot and can't stand engaging in quiet activities that require more brain function than muscle.

Symptoms of impulsivity include difficulty of waiting among other things. They often interrupt conversations and games which can be distracting to most people. They can't wait for a question to be finished before blurting out their answer.

Symptoms of inattention are manifested when the person with ADD fails to give close attention to details and is always in their constant disorganized way. They make careless mistakes in homework and for adults, careless mistakes in work-related activities. They have difficulty finishing a task and are always shifting from one task to another. They often forget the necessary things and they are easily distracted by other stimuli. They have trouble following listed instructions and as a result, they fail to finish schoolwork, and work-related duties.

Attention deficit disorder symptoms vary from person to person. But the standard thing is that it should be alleviated in the best way possible. There are already a lot of remedies out there that helps patients with ADHD.

In this day and age where going natural is the best way to go, homeopathic remedies are becoming popular. With this kind of remedy, you can eliminate the risk of side effects. ADHD is already in itself a heartbreaking condition, so why not choose a remedy now that will make you feel as if you have already won the battle?
