There is a growing concern on the medications for ADD ADHD and other treatments that are available in the market. Patients or their parents worry that the medicine they are buying intended to help may actually harm them instead. However, what is certain is the fact that these drugs have proven short-term side effects. These side effects range from stomachache, headache, appetite loss, weight loss, insomnia and even chest pains and increased heart rates.
The patient is already dealing with more than enough stress brought about by the condition. It certainly will not help him to deal with additional stressors such as the side effects of prescription medications intended to improve his condition.
However, there are alternatives to the treatment of this condition. One of which is homeopathic treatments.
