If you are exploring the areas of aromatherapy, or trying to quit smoking, it can sometimes be mind boggling as to what method could be best or what is the best price, or what on earth is a vaporizer? And after you figure that one out, there is a lot of research to be done on prices, durability, effectiveness and ease of use.
Ease of use is probably the most important factor for those who are first time users of a vaporizer. What is this and what do I do with it -- those questions were first and foremost in my mind when I tried my first vaporizer. I wanted to use some aromatherapy herbs, but being a newbie I did not have the grasp and understanding of how one of those things works. I used to refer to vaporizers as "one of those things" because I hadn't a clue. And while still clueless about a lot of other technological gizmos, I soon found that the type of vaporizer that was digital, works out the best for my use and a lot of my friends. After all, I had mastered the microwave a long time ago, why not this new-fangled gadget that helps me to breathe much easier.
A Digital Vaporizer or any other vaporizer, actually, uses convection technology (just like convection/microwave ovens do, to heat up the ground herbs you put into it. The digital readout and accuracy ensures that the plant material is not wasted or overheated. I am very used to looking at LEDs and LCDs on alarm clocks and my regular oven and all of my TV equipment, that I was so happy to find this kind of readout on my new "toy". By the way, even the digital vaporizer uses valves to release the vapor (or you can remove the plastic bag that the vapors are put into).
A cousin of mine used a vaporizer to help her quit smoking, and had told me about this useful little machine. She emailed me a photo of the one she used and it looked like a Volcano, She also told me to research a little and check out the different types, and that's when I decided to use the simple and easy to read Digital Vaporizer. The readings were easy to understand even with my glasses, and the ease of use helped me to get the whole process right the first time, unlike various recipes I've tried in my oven, which emerged looking like lava from a Hawaiian volcano.
