Do you have problems with excess weight gain? Do you sit around all day behind a desk to work or stand in one place? There are many jobs that we do that involve either sitting or standing all day. By the time you get home you are too tired to do anything but rest and exercising is out of the question. If you have a membership to a gym club, you will most likely do it only on weekends when you do not have to work. You would be surprised to learn that a lot of this weight you are gaining is water weight.

This type of weight gain is the easiest to have happen to you and the hardest to lose. If you do not drink enough water during the day, your body will retain the water supply it has. Most of the time this will happen without you even realizing it until it is too late. The less water you drink, the more your body will retain from anything that you do drink. You need clean clear water for your body to work right. Most of you only drink coffee, tea, beer, or soda and think that you are drinking water. All of these do have water, but with other things included like caffeine.

By drinking more plain water each day, your body will stop retaining excess water there by letting you start to lose weight. But remember this, you also need to exercise and the more exercise you do the more water you will need to drink. If you happen to be exercising and start to sweat, your body is losing needed water. Your body is made up of about 75 percent water so when you sweat from the activity you happen to be doing your muscles start to cramp. If this happens just stop and drink some plain water to help with what you have lost.

If you are just starting this routine you might want to check with your doctor first. He or she will give you some valuable tips that will help you do this the right way. They will also help you with setting up a diet plan. As you progress with your plan, they will let you know when to add different exercises. They will also help you to stay with this plan until you get where you want to be. Water always plays an important part in our daily lives and when you are getting the amount you need everyday, you will soon discover that your bodily functions will become more regulated, thereby making you feel better too.
