The most powerful treatment invented by the scientists of hair and the dermatologist is the usage of hair replacement surgery which helps in hair re growth and replacing it. The hair needed for transplant is taken from the patient itself or from other hair donors. All the hair loss hospitals do not have the hair transplant surgery since it is risky. The FDA approved hair hospitals are only allowed to do the surgery.

This hair replacement procedure is the most powerful and successful treatment of all time in hair study and research. People with pattern baldness due to the ancestors having it are cured only by the means of surgery. Baldness due to hereditary cannot be cured by natural treatment because it is not due to any hormonal disorder in the body.

The hair replacement surgical procedure is done in the following way. The first step is removing small pieces of hair from a donor site and locating this hair in the bald area. This is known as grafts. Grafts are of different types like round-shaped grafts containing ten to fifteen hairs. The smaller graft contains around one or two hairs.

The next step before the treatment is done is, the "donor area" will be cut short in order to access and remove the graft. When grafts are removed from the donor area, the surgeon will subsequently inject small quantity of sodium chloride solution in the scalp to have proper skin strength. The holes in the donor region will be closed with stitches.

In order to maintain the circulation in the scalp, the grafts are removed are placed at one-eighth of an inch apart. The space that occurs between the hair removed site is filled with other grafts. Care in removing and placement of grafts must be taken in order to make the hair grow in a natural direction.

The next procedure in hair replacement surgery is cleaning the scalp and covering it with an gauze. A pressure bandage is to be wearied for a day or two. Some doctors allow their patients to be bandage-free in order to have the surgery be cured sooner. The surgeons doing plastic surgery are the leaders in tissue extraction from the donor.

Flap surgery is another method of hair replacement surgery. It is performed on the scalp. This surgery helps in quick recovery from areas of baldness and it is a customized surgery for each patient. A portion of bald scalp is taken out and a flap of hair-bearing skin is taken from the surface while one end is attached. The hair-bearing flap is kept in a new position and sowed into place, while remaining "is kept to its original blood supply. This treatment is more successful for more than twenty odd years. Plastic surgeons has made a great advancement in the flap surgery technique.
