Mother Subscribes to Program to Lose Fat Fast. Weight! Lose That Thought...

(Fictional) mother decided, after "really" looking at her body in the mirror and suddenly "waking up" to the reality of her 40" waist, her weight in excess of 150 lbs, and the jowls starting to form on her face, that she had had enough. "I'm tired of being tired!", she yelled to no one in particular... Nobody was home to hear this scream of disgust, yet all over Mary's face it read... FED UP!

"Why can't I keep the weight off?", she cried..., "why do all these programs promise me a new body, yet after trying them I'm worse off than ever?!?"

But Mary was determined to find the answer. First thing she did was go to the bookstore. Faced with an endless number of books to choose from, she just closed her eyes, clicked her heels, and chanted,

"There's no Place Like Home... there's no place like home..."

Mary is a fictional character I made up. In fact, however, Mary is a very real, and very frustrated woman that is crying out for help from someone, anyone, that can help her lose the fat she's accumulated on her body over the years. There are millions of "Mary's (and John's too) " out there, searching, looking for answers, clues, anything that can get them on the path to a new body. And the choices we all have nowadays are not making it any easier, believe it or not. These choices are only muddying up the waters, making it harder and more confusing than ever to decide on what to eat, how to eat, how to exercise, what supplements to take...

STOP THE CONFUSION!

I want you to take yourself out of your body right now... that's right... imagine floating high above your current self, higher and higher, up into the clouds... higher even still. Now look down at the earth below.

Here's what I want you to concentrate on.

Take a look at what the animals of this earth eat. Do they have a difficult time with food choices? Are they overweight, out of shape? Well of course the answer is a resounding no.

Every animal on earth has a "natural" food source that is perfectly designed for them. Their only struggle is finding enough of it to eat. But they have no problems at all choosing the perfect foods for them.

So why are we, the highest animal form on this planet, having such a difficult time with choosing the right foods to eat? And why are we all getting collectively fatter and sicker as time progresses?

SEVERAL ANSWERS TO THE RIDDLE

We humans are smart, yet we make dumb (or uninformed) choices.

Let's face it... we have the odds stacked against us.

How so?

Let me count the ways:

Manufacturers are making foods more convenient

Manufacturers are making foods more tasty

Advertising by manufacturers is convincing (tricking?) us of the value of their "packaged and processed" foods

We too smart for our own good - we invent great-tasting foods that overwhelm our normal food cravings or satiety reflex (think about how you can eat a slice of cheesecake even though you're stuffed from dinner)

We are genetically programmed to eat whenever food is plentiful. Think of it like a switch that is constantly turned on. We are constantly looking or thinking about food. It is so ingrained in our psyche and core selves as humans that we don't really pay too much attention to it. We just think about food all the time. You can't help it (kind of like sex)!

Food is pretty much plentiful all the time, so our internal genetic programming pushes you to eat to store up for the famine times to come. Problem is, those times of famine never come.

WHAT'S THE ANSWER THEN?

There is no easy one.

There... out in the open, for everyone to see... I said it. There is no "fast weight lose" diet, no "easy way to lose weight fast", no "magic pill" that will accelerate your metabolism and allow you to have your cake AND eat it too.

Or is there...

LET'S GET DUMB AND DUMBER...

First, let's get real clear on the foods we should be eating as "humans". Once and for all this question will be answered here. And it's so simple you'll kick yourself (maybe you already figured it out in the past).

Imagine we were no smarter than all of the other animals on this earth. We couldn't speak like we do today, invent the things we've invented, create the things that inhabit (or litter) this earth. Let's say our brain power only allowed us to live by instinct. No smarter than a zebra, or a gazelle, or even a chimp.

Let's think about those animals for a second. None of them have ever invented even one thing on this earth. Yet they survive; thrive even.

WHAT WOULD WE EAT? WHERE WOULD WE FIND OUR FOOD SOURCES?

Like the rest of the animals on the earth, we'd have to go forage for it. We'd look for berries on shrubs, fruit on trees, tubers underground, grubs and insects on the ground, and the occasional animal that was unfortunate enough to come our way where we could catch it and eat it up -- RAW! Remember, we have no fire as we're not smart enough to build one. We're simply animals, fending for ourselves like the rest of the animals on this earth.

Sometimes we'd come up on bees and their nests, full of honey. Boy, this would be an occasion (look up the word occasion, which is derived from "occasional", which means "sometimes"). And we'd scarf down that sweet-tasting nectar like it was going out of style.

And how often we'd eat would be dictated by what we found. As you know, there is no refrigeration, so storing fresh food is not really an option, at least for long. So we'd "graze", continually looking for, and finding food to eat all day long.

The food we'd find would be full of fiber, because that is just what nature has served up to us. Fortunately, these high fiber foods would help us stave off hunger because of the length of time it takes to digest them.

No cooking, remember? Everything is raw, just like the other animals on the earth. We are no different.

DO YOU GET THE PICTURE NOW ON WHAT WE REALLY SHOULD BE EATING?

It's a simple observation, but something that seems to have eluded us recently with the advent of more and more "convenience" foods. We have "forgotten" the kinds of foods we humans were really designed to eat.

We've become too smart for our britches.

WHAT'S THE ANSWER THEN?

There are two main answers to this problem.

The first one, which foods to eat and when, is actually quite simple. Just imagine yourself an animal without the ability to cook, shop, create. Just the ability to find, pluck from trees, find on or under the ground, and catch with your bare hands.These are the kinds of foods we should attempt to eat more regularity. Think about this for a second and you'll have your answer every time as to the kinds of foods you should be eating regularly.

The second one is a bit harder because food is VERY plentiful. We have to figure out a way to "override" our natural genetic code to overeat. Will power alone is not enough for most people.

We are in a changing and evolving world. A world filled with food everywhere you turn. Yet we are relative newcomers to this "new world" way of eating. And it's killing us. Do you see the rates of cancer, heart attacks, strokes, diseases, depression, etc in the animal kingdom? Of course not!

Yet for humans, it is a "natural" thing for us to have all these forms of sicknesses as a part of our "normal" lives. Is this really normal? Think about it for a second... remember, we're physically nothing but animals, like the other animals on earth. Just a bit smarter is all... a bit too smart for our own good in many ways.

So we have to turn to our highest source of strength and power -- our brain -- to help us combat this new age where food is not only plentiful, but it's designed to override all our natural instincts and, left unchecked, will cause us to eat it at will. Think about how much self control you already exert every day when you eat? You have to physically tell yourself to stop eating every day.

Problem is, most of us don't stop eating when we've had enough calories. And it's not really your fault sometimes because most of the food we eat is VERY calorically "dense" (lots of calories for the volume of food you eat).

HYPNOSIS IS ONE OF THE MOST RELIABLE WAYS TO COMBAT OUR MOST FORMIDABLE FOE

Our drive to eat (and procreate) are genetically hard-wired into us. Since we're so smart to have invented these wonderfully tasting foods (but almost all universally bad for you), we're also smart enough to have been able to invent ways to "reprogram" our psyche through hypnosis.

Clinical hypnosis is now recognized by the medical association as a helpful cure for a variety of conditions. Food addictions, smoking, anger management, drug and alcohol addictions, etc.

Clinical hypnosis can also be used to help you make the right food choices on a regular, every day basis. Without changing the way you think about food, there is very little chance you have of making permanent change. After all, wouldn't it be easier knowing that instead of "forcing" yourself to make the "right" food choices each day, instead, your natural instinct would be to "automatically" choose those foods instead?
