A single acne product may solve one problem coinciding with the occurrence of acne but at some point one is not enough to give you the results you want. You should have several products that could help you get rid of your skin problem totally. It may be tight for the budget but it helps when you start your own regimen.

Recommended regimen from basic acne products

Starting to build a beauty regimen for your acne-prone skin may sometimes be too tedious on your part. This is because of the different products you should use and remembering how often and at how much an acne product should be applied. For those who want to give it a try, a basic kit includes acne products such as:

Cleanser. This is one of the basics of any beauty regimen. An acne product cleanser should be one that is gentle, lathers well and cleanses your skin from even the most deep-seated dirt. Take note that there are cleansers that are gentle enough but could not take off all the residues from the day's activities. Be sure you get one with a long lasting effect.

Treatment. A good acne product treatment should be one that includes at least 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. A gel-based product is recommended and the item should be fragrance free and PH balanced. Make sure that it will not clatter when applied alongside with moisturizers and that it would not turn white when you perspire.

Moisturizers. Moisturizers should not merely be bought because of the smooth and supple finish that it could give your skin. You should buy a moisturizer that would surely eliminate dry skin and will give you a lighter after-feel. It should be clear and quickly absorbed by the surface without leaving any residue behind.

Other acne products

The regimen for treating acne is very basic in nature - cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. This regimen holds true for all who are concerned with their appearance, whether or not a skin problem bothers them. There are other acne products that can be added to your basics, like:

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA). AHA-based products will give you a light feeling. These products should give you clear skin while exfoliating, and eliminating flakiness. The item should also refresh and calm the surface as it works down your acne-prone skin.

Jojoba oil. Jojoba oil is known for the wonderful benefits it could give the skin and other body parts. This could be used as a moisturizer for the skin.

Wanting to treat yourself from the acne you have should be done by at least taking into consideration a regimen from the wide choices of acne products in the market. Beautiful skin could not be attained in just a blink of an eye because you have to work hard for it.
