Have you been feeling weak or extremely tired lately? Do you sweat a lot all the time and feel heavier while you work or exercise? Do you find that sometimes you just can not get a hold of enough water? Do your muscles hurt even when you get enough sleep? All of these signs could mean that you are becoming dehydrated. You will become more dehydrated with each passing day. You really need to keep drinking water each day, only plain water, and if you exercise or over do anything strenuous remember to drink more. If you become too dehydrated you will end up in the hospital with tubes running into your body.
You can become dehydrated walking a whole 18 holes of golf. You can become dehydrated from biking for too long. You can even have this happen to your swimming children. Most of you think that if your kids are in the water so much they can not become dehydrated. Well this is a lie as you sweat under water also so your body is losing much needed water. If you use your muscles at any time too much they will start to ache usually meaning that the water that this muscle holds is gone and your body is telling you it needs water and for you to stop.
Muscle builders, swimmers, track runners, even all of our ball players dehydrate themselves really quickly. So if you are in one of those categories, then you especially need to remember to stay properly hydrated. But you will not only lose water but the salt supplies that you have in your bodies as well. Some athletes will puss their bodies all the time so they can also end up in the hospital several time in their lifetimes. Some of them do this for so long that they end up having to quit before their time is up. In some cases there have been deaths caused by this.
If you get to feeling a little strange or light-headed go to your doctor or the emergency room to have your water level checked. These professionals know what to look for and know the proper medicine to help put the fluids back into your system. When this is done to you, you might have to spend some time at the hospital over night or even up to a couple of days. This will be up to your doctor and the severity of your condition. With little kids it will be a couple of days as they are more active then most adults. If you happen to be an older adult this situation can happen to you almost as fast as a young child. If you should go to the hospital to visit a sick friend just look to see how many of them are young children and older adults. You will find that most of the beds will have these people in them.
