Below are two easy ways to get your summer in full swing by feeling more confident when you decide to visit the swimming pool this summer. Get Moving - If you don't already have a workout plan in place, then now is the time to get one started. In order to be ready for the summer you will be required to spend a minimum of 30 minutes of activity per day with 1-2 days taken off for rest.

The activities you do can be anything from walking your dog to swimming to going to your local gym. The point is, you MUST get your heart rate up everyday in order to boost your metabolism. Remember, these recommendations are fast track rules to getting ready before the summer comes. It's already spring so we have to be disciplined with this first rule.

Eat Healthier - It's essential that you get your diet in check right now if you want to see results by the time summer roles around. The diet you are adopting should include higher water intake, more healthy sources of protein, and an emphasis on green vegetable intake. The diet and exercise combination just doesn't work if you don't combine them. Results can be dramatically enhanced by changing both your level of activity AND your diet.

Remember, these changes needn't be groundbreaking in order for them to work. Even the smallest changes done consistently will begin to make their mark on your physique.
