A flat stomach is just a dream for a lot of people because they don't believe they can have one. A ripped set of abs is attainable by anyone if they eat and train properly. All you need to do is put your body in a constant fat burning zone. Once you learn how to do this the that dream physique can be yours.

One mistake a lot of people make is doing hours of cardio every week. Cardio is no longer considered a fat burning exercise, and there are much more efficient ways of shedding the fat from your stomach.

A full body workout is needed to increase your metabolism to the point where your body will be in the fat burning zone for 48 hours after you have finished exercising. You need to increase your muscle mass to increase your metabolic rate.

This is the only way to get a six pack in 3 months. Cardio just burns calories for the time you're exercising. That is not going to get you a ripped sets of abs. Long cardio sessions can have an adverse effect on your abs instead of helping them get more toned.

If you're doing cardio for an hour, towards the end of the hour your body can start burning muscle, and this will then slow down your metabolism. Once your metabolism slows down your body will start storing fat between your workouts, and you want your body to burn fat during this time.

Your eating pattern also needs to change. Instead of eating 3 square meals a day you need to start eating 5 to 6 meals a day. This prevents your body going in to starvation mode between your meals. When you go too long without food your body starts storing calories as fat, and the fat will appear on your stomach first.

You haven't get to eat 6 normal sized meals, you just need to halve the portion sizes of what you're eating now. You also need to eat healthy foods. Some people think they can have a burger at lunchtime and then burn it off with an extra 10 minutes in the gym. It doesn't work like this. If you eat burgers, you're going to gain fat.

Once you put everything together then you'll be on your way to a washboard stomach. Anyone can get a good set of abs, don't think that you can't.
