Using a vaporizer for cannabis has quickly replaced the smoking of cannabis in the form of a rolled joint, pipe or bong. As a result, vaporizer parties have become a common form of group medicinal use. For those who may be new to the concept of a vaporizer party, there are a few things to know when attending one.

A vaporizer party, obviously, centers around the medicinal use of cannabis with a vaporizer in a group setting. For the optimum desired relief, the cannabis is inhaled directly from a vapor capture device such as a balloon or bag. Just as in traditional cannabis smoking, the vapor capture device can be passed from one participant to the next and so on. With this in mind, it might be good to know ahead of time if there is a need for more than one vaporizer at the party. In other words, if you have your own vaporizer, find out if you might need to take it along.

Though there are several different types of vaporizers, many of the machines use similar vapor capture devices such as bags. It would be a good idea to take your own bags to the party and if you have a mouthpiece, even better. A good health practice is to use your own mouthpiece or share a bag with only those that you know well and are close to. Others at the party may feel the same way, and it is good etiquette to be prepared for such a situation. Sharing a mouthpiece with others is a personal choice and it good practice to have your own. If you find yourself planning to attend a cannabis vaporizer party, go ahead and invest in a good mouthpiece.

By all means, take your own cannabis supply to the party. Even if the host of the party insists that he or she will be supplying the vaporizer materials, if you have an interesting blend or something new that you would like to share, it is generally welcome. Good party etiquette insists that you take something to the party anyway, so why not make it a party premium? If you are unfamiliar with some of the party attendees, you may want to use your own stash regardless to be sure it is pure.

One final note, as with most cannabis parties, vaporizer parties and most other types of parties, there is generally food involved. Be prepared to take along a supply of suitable munchies. Vaporizing cannabis has the same effect as smoking cannabis, so be prepared. As a general rule, you should take twice as much food as you think you would eat by yourself and if you take a guest, double that amount. It is simply good manners and an appropriate way to show your host that you appreciate the fact that they are hosting the party.
