Most of the smokers who have purchased and are using an electric cigarette have been for the most part quite satisfied with its performance. It is a rechargeable smoking device that imitates smoking a real tobacco cigarette, only it does not have any tobacco. It uses filters that have a nicotine solution in them and even those are refillable. Most starter kits will come with two rechargeable sticks, an electric charger, and one box of five nicotine filters. This is enough of the product to determine whether or not you like the product.

This smoking device simulates real smoking, but it does not expel smoke, but water vapor. The ingredients are fairly simple and few. The filters contain mostly water, nicotine, propylene glycol, {which is already approved and used in many common products}, and flavorings. Most studies so far show that this device is probably mush less dangerous to use than tobacco cigarettes that are burned. This is the main reason many smokers are switching.

It is easy to use the electric cigarette. You can smoke a puff or two and put it down or you can smoke the equivalence of an entire cigarette. Each filter contains enough nicotine to equal almost an entire pack of cigarettes. The only real caution you need to take is to not smoke more than the equivalence of one cigarette at a time, which is about 6 or 7 puffs. This is to avoid nicotine poisoning, which can also happen using too much nicotine gum and smoking at the same time or smoking while you are using nicotine patches. In other words, you smoke the electric cigarette about the same as a regular tobacco cigarette.

The battery stick looks like the part of a cigarette that would normally hold tobacco. These stay charged for many hours and since the starter kits come with two, you simply keep one charged while you use the other. When one runs down, replace it with a fully charged stick and put the run down battery stick on the charger to be ready the next time. The filters for the device can be purchased in boxes of five or you might choose to purchase a bottle of the nicotine liquid to refill the filters as they are used up. This is even more economical. The cost of the filters that are about a pack of cigarettes each, are about two dollars per filter. So, for about 10 dollars you can have 5 packs of cigarettes and using the e-liquid to refill the filters is even cheaper.

You can lay the e-cigarette down anywhere without the risk of fire. It has hardly any noticeable order and will not cause staining in your home or car. The main thing is that is it less harmful to your body than burning tobacco because there is no tar. If you know someone who is using an electric cigarette, ask them how they like theirs. This should give you an idea about whether or not it would be a good choice for you.
