Have you ever been out on the town until late at night with some of your friends only to wake up the next morning with stale smoking breath? Have you ever woken up only to have the back of your throat raw and your mouth tasting like the bottom of your shoes? Are the ends of your fingers looking like they have turned yellow or brown? These are signs that you smoked way too much last night. You might not do this every night, but there are some of you that do. There are some of you that do your work in these places and even if you do not smoke you could go home felling like you do.
Do you find yourself putting a breath mint in your mouth each time you have one of those cigarettes? Sometimes you might see some person going through several containers of those breathe mints in one day because they might not like that nasty taste in their mouths. Sometimes even brushing your teeth might not remove all of the taste of this smoke because it will be in your tongues pores. Even brushing your tongue might not remove all of this smoke residue giving you this awful taste. Then the next thing you usually do after do this is go and smoke another cigarette.
If you really want to get rid of this smoke breathe, you will either have to start with the mints or start to quit. If you want to quit, the longer you stay away from them, the sooner the smoke breathe will go away. The longer you stay away from these cigarettes the more things you will start to be able to notice again. Your food will start to taste good again and you will also start to notice even the smells coming from the food better. In some cases even your skin will start to look healthier.
To quit you might have to see a doctor to help get you started and to help you through all of the steps that you will have to go through. Getting through each step will be harder than the one before. If you think that you can stop cold turkey, give it a try. If you find that doing it this way is impossible and you still want to quit, then you will need to keep trying other methods of quitting until you find one that will work.
