The weight loss industry is filled with thousands of contradictory ideas about healthy weight loss. Here are three simple suggestions that will make it much easier for you to shed the pounds.

roughly fourteen pounds. If you switch to water, or water with lemon, or natural tea you can accomplish the same snacktime refreshment without any of the additional calories.

While many advertisements suggest switching to sports related drinks like Gator Aid or Vitamin Water we suggest that you read the labels and do the math. If you exercise for less than an hour regular water will be enough to replenish you. The majority of sports drinks have over 110 calories and will undo the gains you are trying to achieve.

2. Get moving! It is not dofficult to increase your metabolism if you simply think about getting yoru body in motion. You don't have to run a marathon or be at the gym first thing in the morning. You just have to move. Consider walking up the stairs instead of taking the elevator. Walk after meals to increase your circulation. Take a parking space as far away from your destination just to make you walk a little further.

Once again do the math, if you eat a sandwich for lunch only on weekdays that is about 25,000 calories over the period of a year. This equates to roughly seven pounds from one tiny change in habit. Mustard is the healthiest solution for your sandwich; it only 10-20 calories per tablespoon.
