Based on survey, it was discovered that 63% of Americans are overweight. This is an alarming fact that should not be ignored. However, its easy to see that the result of the survey has lapses in it, because it is quite evident that more and more Americans are resorting to an unhealthy and sedentary lifestyle.

Also according to the survey, the reason behind the weight gain of most Americans is their choice of food, which mainly consists of fat. Yes, fats. In spite of the fact that fats are known to be the culprits behind weight gain, most Americans still opt to eat fat-laded foods. As such, those who want to redeem their old weight and body measurement continues to look for effective fat burners.

For the longest time, counting calories and limiting the caloric intake has been as the best way to lose weight. After all, weight gain is the result of eating too much; therefore, eating less would thus result in weight loss. But actually, that is not really how things work. How much a person eat is more or less irrelevant to the weight loss result that he or she is after. The thing there, really, is to choose food options well. A healthy practice, actually, is to eat foods that are laden with essential nutrients and fiber, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, bran, whole wheat, and the likes.
