It's not something unknown that the news that you and i watch today is loaded with bad and undesirable news.

Do you have a doubt about that? Well, here you go the top stories for today: fuel prices are soaring and out of control.

Stress can be caused by positive and negative events both. For instance, pregnancy is a positive and happy event but it can also turn into the most life-changing experience because the body of a pregnant woman goes through big hormonal changes.

This makes a lot of tension and stress both in the body and in the mind, which could later lead to panic attacks. During pregnancy, the serotonin (it is an enzyme produced by the body during times of danger or worry) level could be imbalanced in the pregnant womans brain; this can give rise to depression, mood swings and disorders and even develop problems as panic attacks. It's face that having a child can be a very stressful situation, and especially for those who are chronic worriers, the extra stress could generate more intense panic attacks during pregnancy.

The effect of panic attacks during pregnancy can greatly influence the women's ability to handle family matters and her childs. The symptoms of panic attacks during pregnancy include symptoms likes shortness of breath, accelerated heartbeats, hot and cold flashes, and dizziness. However, there are also psychological effects such as fear of losing control, fear of going insane, fear of sudden death and fear of inadequacy.

Symptoms of panic attacks and anxiety resemble symptoms of other critical medical conditions, which can be confused with life threatening physical disorders. Consult a doctor to determine the real and reason source of symptoms. This article also gives you some tips to help you get over your anxiety and panic attacks during pregnancy.

Breathe slowly, when ever a pregnant woman feels anxious or panic, she should put her left hand over her stomach; inhale oxygen slowly and deeply; she should feel that her stomach is expanding or moving out when she inhales oxygen and move in when she exhales carbon dioxide. It is very important that a woman with pregnancy panic attacks tell her doctor about these, these attacks possibly have adverse effects on the process of pregnancy and the unborn child.

The women should get an ultrasound immediately to calm their minds about things they only perceive to be going wrong. An ultrasound test gets a reading of the baby's heartbeat, and this will put the mother's mind at ease that the child has good health.
