More than 2 million Americans display signs of a panic attack in one year. Yet most of them remain unnoticed.
The reason for slightly different panic attack signs in teenagers and children vary.

But among the teens the main reason for different signs are those infamous raging hormones.Among the children the panic attack signs might appear to be slightly different because the children can not communicate exactly what is happening to them.In fact the hindrance in communication can lead to more sever signs. The most typical panic signs among any age group are the dizziness or lightheartedness and shaking or trembling etc.

The children under medication for depressions or ADHD(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) can also develop a tendency for panic or anxiety attacks in their teens or later life.Such children actually start exhibiting signs of panic attacks from their childhood. In order to look for a solution to manage panic and anxiety attacks in children.

Rapid or irregular heart beat is also a very confusing sign of a panic attack. People confuse it with a heart attack or a cardiac arrest. This is also because in an anxiety attack too, many people feel a tightening of the chest and in some severe cases also some chest pain. This happens because of the similarity between the signs of a panic attack and a heart attack.

If one undergoes such a situation a doctor should be immediately be consulted. The difference between a heart attack and an anxiety attack is that in the heart attack the pain is very sever in nature.Along with the chest pain the heart attack is often marked by extreme pain in the left arm and sometime in the right arm and other parts of the upper body too.

These parts usually are the neck and the lower jaw. However it does not mean that chest pain or rapid or irregular heart beats are not the signs of a panic attack. And also I am not suggesting that the medical advice should not be sought in such a case.

This is because one can not be sure that it is really just a panic attack.A patient should get help in case or irregular or rapid heart beat. The heart comes to the perfectly normal state after a panic attack but not after a heart attack. These parts usually are the neck and the lower jaw.

However it does not mean that chest pain or rapid or irregular heart beats are not the signs of a panic attack. And also i am not suggesting that the medical advice should not be sought in such a case.
