Anyone who smokes tobacco everyday does it because they are addicted to it and most of them can not stop doing it, at least not easily. There are very few cases where a smoker wants to quit and are able to put them and say it was not hard at all. Most smokers will struggle with quitting off and on for months or even years before they are finally able to kick the habit. The nicotine they are accustomed to having in their body everyday is addictive, but some studies show that the nicotine in itself is not so addictive when administered alone but when combined with all of the other chemicals in tobacco it becomes far more so.

So, what else is in the tobacco that you smoke besides the nicotine? Well, there are thousands of chemicals added to tobacco that are definitely not good for you, but about nineteen or so chemicals are cancer causing and deadly, along with tar and carbon monoxide. But the list can almost go on and on when when discussing the bad things in tobacco. What causes so many of these things to be bad or even worse than they are is the fact that they are burned and inhaled. In other words the smoke from burning tobacco is what causes so much of the damage to a smoker, but even a tobacco chewer will still be susceptible to cancer causing diseases from using tobacco.

Among the deadliest chemicals found in nicotine that might utterly shock you is benzene. Benzene can is a component used in making napalm and other explosive things. It is also used in pesticides. Cyanide can be found in tobacco. This is poison, of course, just in case you do not already know that information. Formaldehyde is used to embalm deceased people. How good do you think that is to burn and inhale? Ammonia, methanol, and acetylene are also unsavory chemicals that you can find in tobacco products and they can be deadly all on their own. Acetylene can be used as a fuel. It can be no wondering at all why smoking tobacco causes close to one half a million deaths in America alone each and every year.

You could go on and on and list all of the things in tobacco that causes deadly diseases and other smoking related ailments, but why would you need to? Have you not already heard enough? If just knowing the things that were listed here is not enough information to make you strongly desire to stop smoking, probably nothing else that could be said would convince you. If you want to get some form of cancer easily, then smoking tobacco is one of your best bets to achieve it. It might take you a few years, but when you continue smoking cigarettes, you increase you chances everyday you smoke tobacco.
