The panic attacks and the anxiety disorder are completely curable through the means of a proper treatment. The treatment may involve taking medicines and the psychotherapy.

The life of the people experiencing panic attacks and anxiety disorder is greatly impaired. In the time span of one year almost 3 to 4 percent people in the u.s are diagnosed with this disorder. This disorder can begin from the toddler age or in the teenage. But sometimes the adults also develop it. Women are more likely to experience this disorder as compared to the men.

They worry excessively about personal or professional life even when there is no reason to get worried. These people can not relax even when they want to and often these are the people who suffer from insomnia. Many people with panic attacks or the anxiety disorder also exhibit physical symptoms. These symptoms can be feeling tired or fatigued, shaking uncontrollably during an attack, headaches, muscle tension, hot flashes or chills down the spine.

It is very fortunate fact that many treatments are available to cure panic and anxiety. For example due to the fear of having a panic attack, you might start to avoid social gathering or even getting out of home. I have seen patients of panic disorder developing agoraphobia (the extreme fear or leaving the home or the extreme fear of seeing strangers).

This can make one deprive of the very normal daily life activities too. For example driving or going shopping or doing grocery or hitting a park or a theater etc.

The untreated panic attacks and anxiety disorder will affect your creativity and prolifically too. You might not be able to perform at the work. The worse panic attacks can even stop you from even showing up at the office. Your employer might get unhappy from you due to the fact that you are no longer productive or creative, if you are in a profession that requires creativity.

Many of the patients having panic and anxiety problems are reported to leave their jobs because their problem had got worse. Before the start of the treatment you must know how many patients with the same disorder and the same symptoms the therapist has treated.

Also you must discuss in detail about his approach to the therapy. That is you must know if he will use the therapy alone or in combination with the medicines. Also ask in detail about his fees and the number of sessions etc.
Author Resource:- The Panic Therapy is a very good program to fight with panic attacks and anxiety. I used it 5 years ago and said goo bye to the panic for good.
